It has been a tremendous blessing to realize how much Andy is loved.
There have been so many false rumors about Andy. Please don't believe anything you hear or read. If you want to know the truth, read these posts or ask me.
I don't know all of the details of what happened but Andy was not burned by a meth lab explosion as some are saying. His burns are not chemical burns, they are burns consistent with a fire, which is what Andy told us happened. Apparenty they were paryting at a stipmine site in Martin County. At some point he was burned, the details are not presently known.
It does cause me to be upset that his friends and even a parent knew Andy was burned and in bad shape and did not immediately seek medical attention for him or call his family. Because of this, his burns grew worse.

Larry I am so happy to hear that Andy is coming around. I will keep him and your family in my prayers. Andy is very lucky to have you in his life and to give him your love but as well as the LORDS love.

Larry Joe.. I am praying for Andy as well as the family. It was really nice to get to talk to you. I can only imagine the number of phone calls you recieve daily.
ReplyDeleteIt saddens me that treatment was not sought for Andy when the incident occured. Those people will have to face the Lord for their mistakes.

ReplyDeleteYou grew up in this town & so did I Larry. You know how it is..when I went away to Morehead to college, everyone said I left town because I was pregnent...Gotta love a small town! :) I did wonder if Meth was involved because it is so widespread here. I have been doing all I can to set the record straight. At youth group on Wed..some kids had heard the meth lab story, some had heard a car accident. Thanks so much for starting this blog & for being painfully honest about the truth of the matter. I know it hasn't been easy, but I believe the Truth will set Andy free!
